PUBLISHED 5:42 PM CDT Jun. 24, 2022AUSTIN, Texas — The reversal of Roe v. Wade doesn’t just affect abortion rights for women. Transgender and nonbinary communities are also losing access to this healthcare that already faces disparities in medical treatment.
The drag star isn’t afraid of being in the spotlight, but he still uses his stage name to protect his identity. Drag is his full-time job now, and it’s what helped him transition to the confident gay, trans man he is today.Alexander has no interest in being a dad, and most especially, giving birth. The only child he’s interesting in rearing is his six-year-old cat Gaia.
Getting pregnant was never a major concern for him. In the unlikely event it happened, he knew he could get an abortion. With that access gone, what once was a fleeting thought is now top of mind.
