A Liberal Senator has sensationally declared that colleague Simon Birmingham’s frontbench position is untenable following comments he made about the Voice to Parliament.

Appearing on Sky News Australia, Mr Birmingham revealed that he didn't intend to actively campaign for a No vote ahead of the referendum – which is seemingly out of step with the Liberal Party.
