Manager of Opposition Business and Liberal MP Paul Fletcher has announced he will retire from politics at the next election.

"Today I announce that I will not run for re-election at the forthcoming federal election," Mr Fletcher said in a statement on Tuesday."And to serve as, successively, a parliamentary secretary, minister and Cabinet minister between 2013 and 2022 and as a senior Opposition frontbencher since May 2022."
