Sky News host Chris Kenny says the Liberal Party is “clearly divided like never before” on the issue of an Indigenous Voice to Parliament.
Mr Kenny’s remarks come after Julian Leeser resigned from the Liberal frontbench less than a week after leader Peter Dutton confirmed the party’s opposition to the Voice to Parliament.
“Who knows what will come from those divisions, but whether you like it or not … you simply can’t escape the fact that this weakens the No case,” Mr Kenny said. “This will really test and divide the Liberal Party, just at the time that they need to be working together on how to reinvigorate their party and win some elections.”
