Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles says the Liberal Party is “big on announcement, short on delivery” during Question Time on Wednesday.

“The truth of defence industry over there was 28 different programs running a combined 97 years over time,” Mr Marles said.

“They never understood the strategic rationale for defence industry, the way in which it can build Australia’s strategic weight.”
