"But we owe it to our party members, to the candidates and the general public to explore any opportunities there might be legally to rectify the situation.The Liberal Party claims it should be given an extension to nominate candidates, because the NSW Electoral Commission published its official election notification five days before the close of nominations, instead of the required seven days.
