The woman also posted photos on her social media showing offensive words written in dust on one of Mr Brough's campaign cars.The ABC made multiple attempts to speak to Dr Brough about the incident which were declined."It's just been extremely unpleasant and that's not what you expect when your husband wants to have a crack at being a representative," he said.

Premier Roger Cook acknowledged Mr Templeman's comment "went too far" but said candidates must be held accountable. Albany Labor MLA Rebecca Stevens said she had recently been harassed at her home by a group of so-called "sovereign citizens" with documents calling for her arrest.She alleged the group attended her office on the same day, with her staff calling the police after they refused to leave.She said robust discussion and debate was part of the democratic process, but targeting staff and families of MPs was unacceptable.
