The Israeli winger will be a Parkhead player until 2027.
Celtic star Liel Abada has penned a new four-year contract at Parkhead to keep him at the club until 2027.
The Celtic hierarchy have been in discussions over the last week and have now sealed new deal with the winger. The 21-year-old has been a revelation since Celtic signed him from Maccabi Petah Tikva in 2019, with his goals and assists. It is a major boost for Brendan Rodgers to get another one of the club’s major assets to commit to the club. Rodgers is set to make Abada a more central figure as he wasn’t given the same assurances under Ange Postecoglou.
And a delighted Abada added: "“I’m really happy to sign the new contract. Now we have a target for this season and we’re looking forward. The most important thing for me is to improve every day and in every game. I want to get better for the team to achieve our targets."
