Residents say the village has a 'nice community spirit'
Villagers have shared what it's like living in their Nottinghamshire village. Kirklington residents say the village has a "nice community spirit" and despite the A617 cutting through they are not affected by the traffic.
Ruth said: "It's great, we love doing the strawberry picking in the summer." Her daughter, Emily Jadhav, eight, added: "I love the strawberry picking but I usually eat all of them." She added that there has recently been a lot of support for more defibrillators in the village to help the older residents. Angela added: "We are quite fortunate that we have a village hall, so the community can gather there and share ideas.
