The northwestern part of the New Jersey is most likely get a dusting on Sunday night.
Wintry precipitation including snow is possible Sunday night into Monday in northwestern New Jersey, forecasters say.
Most of the state will just rain as low pressure pushes into the area and models are still not in agreement over whether it will snow at all. The forecasts are in “slightly better agreement for a developing storm system to bring more inclement weather back into the picture beginning Sunday morning into early Monday, though models continue to disagree on the strength and exact timing of this system,” the“Still plenty of uncertainty here with many moving parts that could easily change over the next few days.
With the potential precipitation still nearly 72 hours away, no expected snow totals have been compiled by the weather service’s Mount Holly office, which covers New Jersey’s 16 other counties. The weather service has called for a tenth of an inch of snow to fall in northern Hunterdon, western Morris, Sussex and Warren counties by 7 a.m. Sunday.AccuWeather.comThursday will be dry and mostly sunny with highs climbing into the low 50s this afternoon.
Conditions stay dry on Friday and Saturday but it will cooler with highs only in the 40s. Some light rain is possible at night.
