After an exhausting 2019 in music, Lil Nas X is planning to step away for the time being. The Atlanta native made the surprising announcement via Twitter on Friday afternoon , which was actually met with great gratitude and support from his rabid fanbase. For those expecting to see Nas X perform at Twitchon or Sandbox Music Festival, he will no longer be on the bill. "It’s been a wild last 7 months and im ready to take a little time off," Lil Nas explained. "sorry to everyone attending twitchcon or the sandbox music festival, I will not be there. I love u guys and will make it up to you some way."
