A pet-obsessed woman from Louth spends thousands of pounds pampering her pets including a fashionista dog and pigeon who have formed an unlikely friendship.
Meggy, still mourning the loss of her beloved Jack Russell Pippa from October 2020, needed a friendly shop dog that would get along with the other animals in her care. Eva proved to be the perfect fit.Training Eva to be sociable proved easier than expected for Meggy, who taught her to greet other animals gently with a lick upon the command ‘say hello’.Clee and Eva enjoy spending time together.
Eva has formed good bonds with other animals, including a tortoise and a guinea pig. Photo: Meggie Johnsonand thrives on modelling. Whenever Meggy gets her camera out, Eva jumps up on the furniture and sits patiently waiting. This means Eva has around 15 harness and matching collar and lead sets, jumpers, raincoats, a denim jacket, and various other outfits. On top of that, Meggy thinks she’s spent around £2,500 spoiling her dog.
