Linda Burney, the first Aboriginal woman elected to the House of Representatives and the federal Minister for Indigenous Australians is one of two senior ministers retiring from politics as part of a reshuffle of the Albanese ministry.

Linda Burney , the Minister for Indigenous Australians and first Aboriginal woman in the lower house, will retire from politics at the next election.

He says despite the setback of the Voice to Parliament last year, she continued to "advocate for the lives of First Nations people."Linda Burney was the first Aboriginal person to be elected to the NSW Parliament. She was also the first Aboriginal woman to serve in the Australian House of Representatives.

"In making skills and training is important as university degrees, he has changed the way that education, lifelong education, is perceived in this country in a way that is so important," he says.He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2004."I deeply respect his judgement, I highly value his advice that I have sought not just in his portfolio but across a range of issues over a long period of time.
