Queensland’s Lindeman Island of the Whitsundays is up for sale for an expected $20 million.
National Director of CBRE Hotels and advisor to the sale Wayne Bunz says whoever purchases the island will have to “substantially reinvest to make it a successful resort again”.
“Whenever you sell an island, it’s amazing the attention it grabs for all the right reasons, and sometimes for the wrong reasons too,” he told Sky News Australia.Mr Bunz said there has already been interest from potential buyers.
