ASPI’s Michael Shoebridge says “intimidating an EU member” like China has with Lithuania “brings in the whole of the EU”.
“How is it that more countries aren’t joining the diplomatic boycott?” Mr Shoebridge told Sky News host James Morrow.
“But on Lithuania…It knows what’s at stake when it makes these decisions and I have the utmost respect for the Lithuanian government and the Lithuanian people, they’re already resisting this coercion from Beijing. “The bigger test here is not about Lithuania, it’s about what is the rest of the EU going to do in support of one of its members.”
