'Maybe I'm overly cynical but you don't see similarly extensive amounts of litter on the M6'
Now, I know that the responsibility for the litter left at the side of motorways lies solely with the thoughtless louts who toss it from their vehicles, but sadly they can't be made to pick it up.
So why, more than two months since I highlighted the disgraceful state of the M65 westbound entry sliproad at Junction 4, has it only got worse?Maybe I'm overly cynical but you don't see similarly extensive amounts of litter on the M6. I suspect that as the M6 is seen by more people the authorities are more likely to clear that up before considering our lowly M65.
But if they can't even be bothered to pick up the litter by hand, as they claim to do, they're hardly going to spend tens of thousands of pounds on such advanced little lout schemes are they?
