Little Vietnam sign lit up on Upshur Street, NW

Thanks to Shawn and Shira for sending from Petworth: “New sign spotted above the door in the old“A “Little Vietnam” sign just showed up at the old Magpie space.”

The Magpie and the Tiger are subjects of and paintings. The magpie is a symbol of good luck and prosperity, and the tiger is the spiritual protector of the Korean people. The alcoholic beverage programming will be focused on wine, makgeolli and sake, with each beverage experience including one pairing per course. The non-alcoholic beverage experience will include one pairing per course as well. There will also be an a la carte beverage menu that will feature cocktails, wine by the glass/bottle, and non-alcoholic drinks.
