Sky News host Peta Credlin says Water Resources Minister David Littleproud has taken 'the lazy way forward' of 'fobbing everyone off' with an inquiry to 'put off' hard decisions rather than 'upset the green lobby'. Credlin

Sky News host Peta Credlin says Water Resources Minister David Littleproud has taken "the lazy way forward" by endorsing an inquiry to "put off" hard decisions rather than "upset the green lobby". "Frankly, any minister who resorts to an inquiry when it's obvious that a decision has to be made is not up to the job," she said.

"It allows the minister to say he's doing something but it doesn't require the minister to actually do anything." "If this isn't sorted - and sorted quickly... next time, it won't be the hapless minister and the National Party the protestors have in their sights, it will be the PM." Ms Credlin said quiet Australians only "stay quiet" if the government is "working for them".
