Police have shut part of the ring road in Halton after a serious crash
has closed the outbound carriageway of Station Road in Crossgrates all the way to the railway station following a serious crash, which is reported to have involved a car and an elderly lady on a mobility scooter.
Our travel partner, Inrix, says: "A6120 Ring Road Halton Southbound closed, slow traffic due to accident from The Station Pub to Kingswear Parade. Incident occured at around 11:00 this morning which has since closed the road."has asked West Yorkshire Police for more information. Follow our live blog as this incident unfolds.
