Test stars Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne will play for the Brisbane Heat in their clash with the Hobart Hurricanes in a scramble for finals spots at The Gabba .The second placed Hurricanes can all but seal top spot with a victory, while the fifth placed Heat need to win their final two games to be any hope of playing finals.
Khawaja and Labuschagne will lead the charge with the bat in their only BBL game of the season before preparing for Sri Lanka, while Michael Neser and Mitchell Swepson will be key with the ball. For the Hurricanes, Tim David and Ben McDermott have been in hot form with the bat, while Riley Meredith and Peter Hatzoglou will be crucial with the ball in the injury absence of Billy Stanlake.
It sets the scene for a mouth-watering clash with both sides desperate for a win heading into the final round of the regular season.
