A man has been arrested at an Anzac Day Dawn Service held in South Australia this morning.
Police first spotted a man just before 7am walking along Seaview Road near the Henley Beach service carrying a bag with a wooden handle coming out of it, South Australian Police said in a statement.The 41-year-old Kilkenny man was then arrested and has since been charged with two counts of carrying an offensive weapon.South Australian Police have also confirmed that at no point did the man threaten anyone or produce the weapons.
