England players are told to stay in their hotel after a member of the team's family group returns a positive COVID test. Follow live.
Morning all. Not a particularly good one though, it must be said. At the moment it remains to be seen if or when we will see play today because the England cricket team remains stuck in their hotel rooms. A family member of one of the English players has tested positive to COVID, so the rest of the players and squad need to undergo tests and wait for results before any cricket can be played.
We've also heard that a member of the Channel 7 broadcast team has tested positive too, so their whole commentary team has been replaced for today also.
