Mr Maguire said he had an "on-again, off-again" relationship with Gladys Berejiklian from 2015 and that the two split earlier in August The ICAC paused its public livestream and conducted a private hearing for matters that "trespassed" on the personal relationship of Ms Berejiklian and Mr Maguire but accidentally published the transcript on their website before taking it down 30 minutes later

Mr Maguire admitted he used his parliamentary office to facilitate a Western Sydney development deal which he discussed with Ms Berejiklian The Upper House passed a motion which requires Ms Berjeiklian to hand over certain emails to parliament after she revealed to the ICAC that she had a private email address
