MORNING BRIEFING: A man who allegedly tried to defraud his former NSW Government employer is charged with using fake university invoices to claim thousands of dollars, and counting continues in the NSW electorate of Eden-Monaro.
A former NSW government employee has been charged over allegedly using fake university documents to defraud an organisation.
He was charged with two counts of dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception and will appear at Queanbeyan Local Court today.Kristy McBain cast her vote at Merimbula Public School, which she attended as a child and is now her children's school. The ABC's chief election analyst Antony Green called the election for Ms McBain on Saturday night and yesterday said a Labor win was still the most likely outcome.Trains were delayed at Merrylands Railway Station overnight after a car fell down an embankment and landed close to rail lines.Trains were stopped as a precaution for about 30 minutes before the Toyota Echo was removed.
The report, by Suicide Prevention Australia and Wesley Mission, shows many people have become vulnerable to suicide due to joblessness, homelessness or increased drug and alcohol use.
