NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian is expected to reveal the state's roadmap out of lockdown at the 11:00am press conference today. Follow live.
Welcome back to another day of the ABC's COVID blog. We're in for a big one today.
The NSW premier is expected to reveal the roadmap for the state to come out of lockdown at the 11:00am press conference this morning. It's already our understanding that the Mid and North Coast will be released from lockdown at 11:59pm on Friday, and that regional travel will resume when the state reaches 70 per cent vaccination of the adult population.
Parts of regional Victoria are emerging from lockdown too, with a beefed up police presence on the roads between the regions and Greater Melbourne to ensure people are compliant with travel restrictions.
