Speaking on ABC News Breakfast just a few minutes ago, Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews was asked about the issue of trust within the state.
Given there could be less goodwill among the community in this current lockdown, Mr Andrews was asked if he was changing his decision-making process this time around."Again, this is not a popularity contest, it's a pandemic. "I don't enjoy making these decisions and I'm not pleased — I'm furious about where we find ourselves.
"But I don't have the luxury and notice, neither does any Victorian to pretend that the reality that we face isn't real."We'll support those who are doing it tough. We know and understand that that's so important. "Ultimately if we all stick together, we can get to the other side of this, contain it and then begin our process of opening up again."
