Emergency services rushed to the scene
A1 near Grantham
was closed following a two vehicle crash at Great Ponton today, Saturday, July 9. Photos supplied by RSM Photography appear to show that a Mercedes and a Land Rover towing a trailer were involved. The photographer, Roger Mortiss, said: "The vehicles are off in a lay-by. It looks like everyone is out. The police are there and an ambulance has turned up. Lane one of two in the northbound carriageway is closed."Traffic is also slow in Heath Lane and Dallygate. We have asked Lincolnshire Police for further details.
