Opposition Leader Peter Dutton says the prime minister’s office should have been able to resolve the dispute surrounding Richard Marles’ chief of staff Jo Tarnawsky, who claims she was bullied out of her job. Tarnawsky held a press conference at Parliament House on Thursday, accusing staff working under her in Marles’ office of bullying and being sacked without fair process.
“So you would have thought the priority for the prime minister’s office would be to find a resolution and to find a satisfactory outcome by way of mediation or support for the individual involved. And had the shoe been on the other foot of course the Labor Party would be completely outraged and calling for sackings of ministers, etc.
