Mercenaries from the Russian mercenary group Wagner, which have been supporting Russia's military in Ukraine, have crossed the border into Russia, and are ready to go "all the way" against the countrys troops, Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin says.Prigozhin says Wagner troops were greeted by border guards as they moved into the Rostov region and are now driving into the city.
He says young conscripts at checkpoints stood back and offered no resistance, adding that his forces "aren't fighting against children". "But we will destroy anyone who stands in our way," he says. "We are moving forward and will go until the end."after he alleged, without providing evidence, that Russia's military leadership had killed a large number of his fighters in air strikes.
