The 27-year-old has attracted attention from bigger clubs.
The defender signed a five-year contract when he signed from Rennes last year, so West Ham would expect to make a significant profit on the £30m they spent on him, given his deal runs until 2027.
West Ham will not be worrying about losing any of their players at this point after making an impressive start to the season under David Moyes. Three wins and a draw from their opening four games will have them full of confidence, although a tough return from the international break awaits them as they host Man City and go to Liverpool in their next two Premier League outings.
