'We allowed them to get into the game and we were not as aggressive as we needed to be. We didn't get the game started off in the right footing,' he explained. The loss has intensified speculation surrounding Postecoglou's future as Tottenham manager. Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher expressed his concern, stating, 'Ange Postecoglou is a manager who is just trying to find something and what he's trying is not working.' Carragher highlighted Tottenham's poor recent form, noting that 'We're talking almost 50 per cent of the Premier League games he's lost going back. This is not just this season.'
