Liverpool have continued their preparations for the Premier League clash at Manchester United on Sunday
Liverpool will aim to continue their strong start to the Premier League season when they take on bitter North West rivals Manchester United on Sunday. Under new boss Arne Slot, the Reds have opened the campaign with a brace of 2-0 wins, first at promoted Ipswich Town and then at home to Brentford. Slot's squad were at the AXA Training Centre on Friday to continue their preparations for the match, which sees them take a short journey down the other end of the East Lancs Road to Old Trafford.
But there continued to be question marks over the futures of a handful of players in the first-team squad. Chief among them is Caoimhin Kelleher, who was the subject of a failed bid from Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest the previous day. However, both the goalkeeper and Joe Gomez, recently linked with a number of clubs, took full part in the session.
