Former Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt touts Evan Ferguson as a potential signing and addresses Virgil van Dijk's form
Liverpool hero Dirk Kuyt believes that Brighton's Evan Ferguson should be on his former club's radar whilst insisting that Virgil van Dijk is still 'one of the best'.
In his current form, Kuyt has tipped Ferguson to be one of the next Brighton prospects to earn himself a transfer and feels that Liverpool should be in the mix for a player that rejected them at academy level. "Evan Ferguson looks dangerous to me! He’s in good form," the Dutchman told BettingSites.co.uk. "He’s an interesting player to watch, and I look forward to following him in the next couple of months. For me, he’s one of the ones to watch in the Premier League at the moment.
The centre back has come under fire for performances at times when the entire team has struggled, particularly last season. However Kuyt insists that the No.4 is 'still one of the best', even after his injury troubles of the 2020/21 campaign and recent red card.
