Liverpool are set to receive a windfall after their former goalkeeper, Kamil Grabara, agreed to join VfL Wolfsburg

The European transfer window might have closed for the summer, but Liverpool are set for a seven-figure windfall thanks to one future deal.

“The manner in which VfL approached me convinced me very quickly that this is the right step for my career," Grabara told the German outfit after putting pen to paper. “That’s why it was an easy decision to move to Wolfsburg. "I’m really looking forward to repaying the faith shown in me. Until that time comes, though, I’m going to give my all to have a good, successful season with FC Copenhagen and help my team achieve our aims.”

AZ/WAZ suggest that the Reds will receive 20% of £11.6m. However, it's understood that Liverpool's sell-on clause only applies to the profit Copenhagen make on the player. As a result, they are entitled to 20% of £8.6m, so can expect to bank roughly £1.72m.
