Liverpool under-18s suffered a "tough day" as they tumbled to heavy defeat at Leeds United on Saturday.
“A tough day,” Liverpool U18 boss Marc Bridge-Wilkinson said to Liverpoolfc.com. “I thought they deserved to win, they were better than us on the day. Danns, who netted twice in the 4-2 win over Nottingham Forest last weekend, tucked away a penalty with five minutes remaining but it was mere consolation against a Leeds side who had taken control of the game before half-time with goals from Lleyton Brown and Harvey Vincent.
