Manchester City midfielder Rodri was sent off for violent conduct against Nottingham Forest on Saturday
Liverpool supporters have been quick to crack the jokes after Rodri was sent off in the second half of Manchester City's Premier League 2-0 win at home to Nottingham Forest.
The City midfielder was involved in a scuffle with Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White just seconds after the restart and put his hands on the neck of the England Under-21 international before appearing to push him to the ground. Rodri, who has been a key figure for Pep Guardiola's side since joining from Atletico Madrid in 2019, will now miss the League Cup tie against Newcastle United and Premier League fixtures against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Arsenal as he is expected to serve a three-match domestic ban.

Despite playing practically all of the second half with 10 men, City stood firm to keep their two-goal lead intact after first-half strikes from Erling Haaland and Phil Foden.
