A souce close to Ms Truss said: “She and the Chancellor will be working together to listen to colleagues’ concerns this week.” The Prime Minister is planning to tour Parliament’s tea room after facing questions in the House of Commons on Wednesday.
Even as MPs plot Ms Truss’s removal, some have expressed concern at the idea of spending more time and energy on finding a new leader – and warned that anointing another unelected Prime Minister could prompt calls for a snap general election.
