A local councillor who got into an argument over cat microchipping policy with a colleague outside a small town supermarket will be reprimanded for failing to apologise using words wanted by council.She refused to say sorry using a council-issued script, citing 'truth and fairness'Peterborough councillor Belinda Spooner confronted fellow councillor Cassandra Chambers outside the shop in the small town of Peterborough in SA's Mid North in March this year.
Subsequently, the Peterborough District Council passed a motion urging she publicly and unreservedly apologise for her behaviour. And in the interests of "truth and fairness" she would continue to refuse to say the recommended apology.
