Some players appear to be held against the fence as spectators hurl beer at the mass of players on the boundary line.“Gloury has lost the plot,” one commentator said. His commentary partner added: “He is in big trouble, and this is getting ugly — very ugly. It’s in the crowd and they’re throwing beer cans over the fence and everything.”
A free kick and 50m penalty was paid to Deer Park, who took advantage of an almost empty field to run forward and kick an easy goal while most of the players on the ground continued to fight each other.
