With Pennsylvania being hit with cyber-attacks recently, one local university’s cyber defense program is gaining recognition and addressing a growing need.

The National Security Agency designated the university a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense just six years after Messiah University's cybersecurity program began. Since 2018, the school has been able to more than double the class size due to its success. With the hope in mind of building a better future for cyberspace, Messiah University encourages its students to apply theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom to real-world situations.
