Aren't we lucky that NI is a beautiful place all year round
Although it may feel that we didn't get much of a summer this year, we are lucky that Northern Ireland can be a beautiful place to live all year round.
Get up close to Ireland's largest collection of native and exotic birds, ducks and geese from around the world or simply explore the woodland and shore-view walks, and dedicated bird hides all while enjoying spectacular views across Strangford Lough. There are several walking trails of different lengths which give spectacular views and glimpses of wildlife and the timber walkway that winds through the glen was first built about 100 years ago.
A mystical and enchanting estate, set in the magnificent natural surroundings that is full of colour and life at this time of year. It follows the course of the river and takes you through a narrow, steep-sided limestone gorge that is thickly covered by an ancient ash woodland and is part of the Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark.
With a host of wildlife such as herons and squirrels calling this area home, this is the perfect spot for an enjoyable stroll.
