Mum of one Lola Pearce is set to pass away this week in even more emotional scenes leaving her family devastated after her battle with a brain tumour over recent months
EastEnders has been a tough watch in recent weeks as Lola Pearce has faced the heartbreaking reality that she doesn't have long to live due to her brain tumour.Lola's grandad Billy, played by Perry Fenwick has said that Lola's death is the saddest storyline in his 25 years on the soap.
In recent weeks viewers have watched as Billy has played a huge part in Lola's decline being there for his granddaughter doing whatever she needs. The sad news was because Lola's palliative chemotherapy had not worked in the way that the doctors had hoped it would. Once Lola told Jay her plans he insisted that he would be the one to do it not Billy but eventually Lola decided that ending her life was not the right thing to do.
