New figures show more than ten per cent of Australians who are absent from work are suffering the long-term effects of COVID.
Long COVID, dubbed the ‘silent pandemic’, is impacting an already struggling workforce with staff members taking absentee days because of COVID-19 symptoms extending past the initial infection.
New analysis by the Department of Treasury has shown in the first six months of this year alone, three million working days have been impacted by people suffering the effects of long COVID.
