Long Covid has been linked to a concerning symptom you may spot in your legs
The research suggests that those suffering from the condition may see their legs turn blue, with doctors raising the alarm after noticing patients with the sign after as little as 10 minutes of standing.
After just 10 minutes, the blue colouring become much more "pronounced", with the patient also experiencing heavy, itchy sensations in his legs. Study author Dr Manoj Sivan, of the University of Leeds, explained that: “This was a striking case of acrocyanosis in a patient who had not experienced it before his Covid-19 infection.
Those with Long Covid may suffer a range of symptoms as the condition impacts several systems in the body. Some patients face difficulty when performing daily activities, with others also seeing their autonomic nervous system, which is responsible for regulating blood pressure and heart rate.
