Girls Aloud are back in Liverpool this weekend for a reunion tour in memory and celebration of Sarah Harding, who died in 2021.
The girl band, comprised of Cheryl, Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle and Kimberley Walsh, performed at the M&S Bank Arena last night and will be back on stage this evening, June 30.The band became one of the biggest pop acts in the country, releasing a string of top 10 singles between 2002 and 2009, from Sound of the Underground to Something Kinda Ooh and The Promise. The group achieved 20 consecutive Top 10 singles, four number ones, two No 1 albums and a Brit Award.
The girls have performed on Merseyside several times. We decided to indulge in a little noughties nostalgia by delving into the archives to find photos of when Cheryl, Nadine, Kimberley, Sarah and Nicola wowed crowds at Aintree back in 2006 and a year later at the 2007 Summer Pops gig.The Liverpool singer took to the Other Stage at Glastonbury Festival on Saturday, June 29shopping"This is a very pretty and flattering dress.
