The United States is looking for an"off-ramp" to avoid prosecuting Julian Assange says his brother, Gabriel Shipton, after US Ambassador to Australia Caroline Kennedy suggested a plea deal could be possible.
That could come in the form of a plea deal, wherein Assange admits guilt for the leaking of thousands of pages of classified diplomatic and military documents in exchange for a reduced sentence.
