Loose Women stars deny 'feud' and insist 'show wouldn’t work with sniping’: 'It's a sisterhood!'
We’ve often wondered what it would be like to be part of the Loose Women panel. And now, after being in the ladies’ presence during OK!’s exclusive shoot to celebrate International Women’s Day, we think we’ve got a pretty good idea.
And after we’ve wrapped, Nadia, 57, and Jane, 59, who launched the show back in 1999 alongside Kaye Adams, decide to head off for an impromptu drink and catch-up. Hi, all. We’re here to mark International Women’s Day. What does being part of Loose Women mean to you? Jane: We get so many people stopping us when we’re out and about and saying, “I’ve been going through a tough time and the show really saved me” – particularly through the pandemic. I also think it’s important because I’ve done a lot of political debate shows that are male-dominated and I think we’ve heard enough of the male view! It’s nice to hear a female perspective from time to time. Charlene: Of course, it’s daunting! I grew up watching Loose Women.
Nadia: People don’t realise the silent language that goes on between us. We’re lifting each other all the time, but you absolutely wouldn’t know it. That’s the skill of it. You have to care about people and want them to be their get my head around that took time for me. But realising that these women are being so open with each other, I wanted to be part of it.
