After three years away from our screens, one of the Loose Women panelists has made a surprising return to TV as she appeared on rival network Channel 5's Jeremy Vine Show
A former star of Loose Women has returned to TV on a different channel after not being on the screen for three years. Saira Khan, 53, famously stepped away from the ITV show in 2021 after six years as a panelist.
She said: "After taking a few years off the telly, it was nice to be back and I didn't realise how much I missed it. It was Jeremy who persuaded me to come back," reports the Mirror. She added: "I think it's good to have a break and I feel more confident now about who I am and who I what I want to say."
Saira, who also starred on Celebrity Big Brother, initially shared her Loose Women exit news at the beginning of 2021 in her column for The Mirror. She later revealed why she left the show, saying she wanted to have more fun on the programme, but hinted that bosses wanted Stacey Solomon to fill that role.
