Lorraine Kelly spoke about Sam Smith at the Barbie premier on the show Lorraine
Lorraine Kelly has said that misgendering Sam Smith was 'not intentional' as fans have hit out at the Scots television presenter.
The STV presenter was talking with Vogue Williams as the pair discussed the recent Barbie premiere which took place on Wednesday night.Looking at photos of the fashion this morning , they spoke about Sam Smith's outfit with the singer dressed in wide-leg denim trousers matched with an oversized black sweatshirt.."It is," agreed Lorraine adding: "It's a bit big for him. Now if he was my son, I'd be saying, son, that's too big for you. It's drowning you.
Lorraine laughed: "I know but he looks like a wee shrinking man. Oh bless him" with Vogue continuing: "It's certainly a different look from all the tall and the pink on the carpet." Another said: ""Not Lorraine misgendering Sam Smith over and over! She's normally pretty good with this stuff. Vogue looked visibly uncomfortable!' And she seemed to be emphasising THEY too for Lorraine to pick up on it but it didn't work! I'm sure she'll be upset she got it wrong."
