Los Lobos will headline free Día de los Muertos festival at Hemisfair in San Antonio
will headline this year's Día De Los Muertos Festival in San Antonio, which is set for Oct. 29-30 at Hemisfair.
Los Lobos emerged from a vibrant L.A. music scene in the early '80s that included bands such as X and the Blasters. Their 1984 album,"How Will the Wolf Survive?" was an instant classic, but the band achieved its biggest success in 1987 with the soundtrack to the Richie Valens biopic"La Bamba."Fronted by singers and guitarists David Hidalgo and Cesar Rosas, Los Lobos have endured and prospered for nearly a half-century by trusting their chops and following their instincts.
